Grow fresh produce at home in weeks, not months
Founded in 2017, Lettuce Grow is a U.S. sustainable food brand co-founded by Zooey Deschanel and Jacob Pechenik. Inspired by an experience at a farm in Austin, Texas, it offers automated hydroponic gardens for growing food at home (self-watering and self-fertilizing) and a service that delivers pre-germinated seedlings. Its guiding principle is “Lettuce Grow is more than gardening…demand better from our food system.” Through water savings of 98% and the elimination of harmful chemicals, the brand aims to create a more sustainable food system. At the Core77 Design Awards 2023, Pip Tompkin and Pump Studios are also listed as the project team for “Farmstand Nook.”

Concept

Lettuce Grow is more than gardening. It’s a movement designed to inspire individuals and families to demand better from our food system. To improve our health, lessen the impact of climate change, and address global resource constraints.
