Grow fresh produce at home in weeks, not months
2017年に設立されたLettuce Growは、Zooey DeschanelとJacob Pechenikが共同で立ち上げた米国のサステナブル食品ブランド。Austin, Texasの農場での体験をきっかけに、自宅で育てる自動化された水耕ガーデン（self-watering／self-fertilizing）と、事前に発芽させた苗を届ける仕組みを展開する。理念として「Lettuce Grow is more than gardening…demand better from our food system」を掲げ、98%の節水や有害な化学物質の排除を通じて、より持続可能な食の仕組みを目指す。またCore77 Design Awards 2023では「Farmstand Nook」のプロジェクトチームとしてPip TompkinとPump Studiosが紹介されている。
コンセプト
Lettuce Grow is more than gardening. It’s a movement designed to inspire individuals and families to demand better from our food system. To improve our health, lessen the impact of climate change, and address global resource constraints.
