Overview

LOOPWHEELER is a sweatwear brand launched in Japan in 1999 by its representative, 鈴木諭. It uses loopwheel fabric knitted on TSURIAMIKI machines operating in Wakayama, with sewing also carried out domestically by hand by skilled craftspeople. Its product range centers on sweatshirts and includes hoodies, sweatpants, and T-shirts.

Concept

Drawing on the reliable technical skills and production facilities developed through the experience of skilled craftspeople in knitting fabric and sewing, as well as the bonds among everyone involved in every stage of the process, LOOPWHEELER continues to explore new possibilities for loopwheel fabric while creating loopwheel sweatshirts with the same original spirit.

Tagline

“The world’s most authentic sweatshirt.”

Sub-brands

  • LOOPWHEELER PREMIUM 2025

A new upper-tier label established by LOOPWHEELER for product lines using rare, high-value materials. In August 2025, it produced a new name tag (brand tag) for “LOOPWHEELER PREMIUM,” indicating that the tag is applied to items clearly differentiated from the regular line in terms of materials, such as cashmere and wool-blend TSURIAMI pile. It is positioned above the product system of existing staple groups (LW Basic / LW Light, etc.) to clarify material grade.
