Menichetti (MENICHETTI) is an eponymous fashion brand founded in 2002 by Roberto Menichetti, who was born in New York and has worked from Italy. The brand began presenting collections in New York in 2004 and offered womenswear and menswear, along with bags, shoes, belts, and other items. Its direction was guided by “essentialism,” which brought together modern elegance and technical sportswear, with an emphasis on a versatile wardrobe. Roberto held design leadership roles at Jil Sander, Burberry, and Celine, among others. The collection at the end of 2006 was the last released under the brand’s own name.
