adidas Originals 2001
adidas Originals is adidas’s heritage/lifestyle line, which uses the Trefoil logo and primarily handles the reissue and re-release of classic archive-derived silhouettes such as Stan Smith, Superstar, Gazelle, and Samba. Following the reorganization of the brand structure around 1997, it was positioned as the line consolidating the Trefoil across heritage products, clearly differentiated from Performance, which is competition-oriented, and designer collaboration lines such as Y-3. Within the group, Originals plays a central role in reinterpreting the archive through collaborations.
